Summary: the site receives ordinary server request data, uses Google Analytics after a delay or visitor interaction, and stores an email address when a visitor submits a newsletter form. Commercial destinations may set their own tracking when a visitor follows a labeled affiliate link.

1. Publisher and contact

AffiliateToolsGuide.com is published by William Lodge. Privacy questions and access, correction, or deletion requests can be sent to hello@affiliatetoolsguide.com.

2. Data received

Server requests: the hosting server may log an IP address, request time, requested URL, referrer, user agent, and response status for security, reliability, and diagnostics.

Analytics: Google Analytics may receive device, browser, page, referrer, interaction, and approximate-location data and may use cookies or similar identifiers. AffiliateToolsGuide does not describe this data as anonymous.

Newsletter: when a form is submitted, the site stores the supplied email address, signup time, and available referrer on the server and sends a notification email to the publisher.

Messages: an email sent to the site includes the address and content the sender chooses to provide.

3. Uses

  • Operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the site.
  • Measure aggregate use and content performance.
  • Process a requested newsletter signup and communicate with subscribers.
  • Respond to questions, corrections, and privacy requests.

4. Third parties and commercial links

Google processes analytics data under its own privacy policy. The hosting and email infrastructure process data needed to serve requests and deliver messages. When a visitor follows an external or affiliate link, the destination receives the request and may use its own cookies, attribution, and privacy practices. See the affiliate disclosure.

5. Choices

Visitors can block or clear browser cookies and use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking technologies may change site or destination functionality. Newsletter subscribers may request removal by email.

6. Retention and security

Newsletter records are retained until removal is requested or the record is no longer needed. Server and analytics retention follows the current hosting and analytics configuration. Reasonable technical and operational safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Changes
